If you, like me, need to take it daily, please avoid taking any vitamin supplements 4 hours before or after you take your Levothyroxin, because it prevents calcium intake in your body. Got switched to a PTB Sarmiento fracture brace, still WBAT with crutches. Week 7: X-rays showed that I’m still healing and there is no significant callus formation. Week 3: full leg cast switched to a PTB cast. Week 2 follow-up: got approved for TTWB with crutches. In one week follow-up: complained about pressure point and heavy cast, got it removed and changed to a full leg fiberglass with a bit of knee bend. (That issue I would have for all 7 weeks that I’ve spent having a cast). Literally didn’t sleep through the night for the first 3 weeks. My biggest issue was a pressure point on my heal, I couldn’t sleep at night. Got a few layers of fiberglass on top of my half-plaster layer and got sent home. Had a closed reduction with perfect alignment and plaster full-leg splint. May 2nd, around 12pm - fell from bouldering wall and landed on my left foot. I’m cleared to hike and in a month I can start to run and jump. Today, 17 weeks after my injury, I was allowed to take off a plastic brace.
